I am a single mother who lives check to check. And I am sure there are other single mothers that are in more needed help then I am, but I just need to share my story. I have more bills then I do income and I do struggle to get a meal out for us. I pray with desperation and God always makes a way for me. I am thankful. I have a 13 year old son who deserves everything under the sun because he is the best child a parent can ask for. The last 2 years he has not gotten any gifts because I just cant afford it. As I go in the bedroom each year and cry to myself of guilt, my wonderful son doesn't complain or show me any sadness. But there has been times where conversations come up that his peers discuss what they did or what they got for Christmas. And it breaks my heart that he has no comment. I just want my son to be part of the conversation this Christmas...
